Abstract

RESUMEN El trabajo aborda las relaciones que las poblaciones quechuas de la comunidad de Taquile establecen con el mercado turístico, a través de un modelo organiza-tivo económico social y solidario de tipo comunitario, gestado desde mediados de los años setenta, y que actualmente representa una experiencia conspicua y reconocida de economía social y solidaria. Además de presentar sus anteceden-tes y el inicio de la experiencia, muestra sus conflictos, retos y perspectivas de futuro. ABSTRACT The work approaches the relationships that the Quechua populations of the community of Taquile settle down with the tourist market, through an economic social and solidary organizational model of community type, gestated from half-filled of the years seventy, and actually it represents a conspicuous and grateful experience of social and solidary economy. Besides of presenting their antecedents and the beginning of the experience, it shows their conflicts, challenges and future perspectives.
