Abstract

Currently, there is a pronounced contradiction between the state order for the training of teachers of higher education and the readiness of the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia to implement it. The reasons for this are outdated ideas about the role of the post-graduate as an organizational form of development of the dissertation research. The article analyzes the reasons why the graduate did not forge any pedagogical or scientific training. The main of them are as follows: lack of understanding by post-graduates of their future pedagogical predestination, which is the main barrier to educational socialization, and the target order, which does not imply the further use of graduates of the pedagogical profile of the post-graduate. In the article comparison of the effectiveness of postgraduate study in Russia and of postgraduate studies at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on the criterion of thesis defenceis carried-out , and the conclusion states that the number of completed studies are incredibly few compared to the number of completed postgraduate (postgraduate studentship). The author suggests ways to change the situation.
