Abstract
<em>This action research aimed at (1) improving students' achievement, and (2) students' scientific performance by implementing Project-Based Learning. The data for students' achievement were obtained from daily test and quiz in which the quiz score was 40% and daily test score was 60%. The data for students' scientifif performance were obtained from the observation (project rubric). Then, the data were analyzed descriptively.</em> <em>The result showed that (1) the implementation of Project-Based Learning could improve the students' achievement. The beginning reflection showed that the students' mean score was only 63,80 with classroom achievement was 60,14%. The students' achievement improved in every cycles. The mean score was 79,77 in cycle 1 and 86,50 in cycle 2 with classroom achievement 76,67% in cycle 1 and 90% in cycle 2. (2) the students' scientific performance also improved. It was "OK" category in cycle 1 and </em><em>"GOOD" category in cycle 2. It could be concluded that Project-Based Learning could improve the students' achievement and scientific performance.</em>
