I met Dino Puncuh, past president of the Ligurian Historical Society, when I joined a study congress in Genoa with Mario Viora, president of the Deputazione Subalpina di Storia patria. Mario Viora told me that Dino Puncuh had excellent organizing and scientific skills. In the following period, when I succeeded him in the charge of president of the Deputazione Subalpina di storia patria, I had the chance to appreciate his competencies. For these reasons, it was possible for me and Dino Puncuh to manage the Ligurian Historical Society and the Deputazione Subalpina di storia patria in an atmosphere of friendship and respect. In particular, I had the pleasure to attend in 2008 the congress held for the 150th anniversary of the Ligurian Historical Society, masterly organized by Dino Puncuh. During the forty years of our activity, we shared a common approach towards the MIBACT (Department of culture) and for what concerned the relationships between the two institutions we led, and I had the opportunity to rejoice Dino Puncuh's clearness of thought.
