Abstract

Abstract
Experience in helioseismology provides guidance for modeling challenges in asteroseismology. It guides choices of targets and conditions of observation. The main objectives are the interplay between rotation and convection and the knowledge of the internal magnetic field. Progress on the structure of the outer layers is crucial to avoid mode identification problems.
