  abstractNote={Resumen En este artículo presentamos el estudio artístico y documental de la portada principal de la iglesia de Santa María la Mayor de Daroca (Zaragoza). La realización de esta portada esta-ba ya en parte contemplada en la capitulación de la fábrica del templo que en el año 1586 se suscribió con el maestro Juan de Marrón. No obstante, el proceso constructivo de la misma data ya del siglo XVII, debiéndose a una traza de Miguel de Cay y a la dirección de los maestros Her-nando de la Roza, Domingo de Pontones y, sobre todo, Pedro de Aguilera; la mayoría de las esculturas y el relieve superior son incluso de fechas posteriores: siglos XVIII y XIX. Cabe des-tacar, por último, la valía histórica de la documentación conservada, que ahora reproducimos por primera vez, junto con el material fotográfico que nos informa de las intervenciones de que ha sido objeto esta obra a lo largo del tiempo. This article studies the front façade of the church of Our Lady the Great in Daroca (Sara-gossa), both from the point of view of its artistic interest and on the light of documentary sources. The design of its main front was established in the agreement signed with master Juan de Marrón in 1586. However, it was not until the 17th century that it was built, after blueprints drawn by Miguel de Cay, supervised by masters Hernando de la Roza, Domingo de Pontones and, above all, Pedro de Aguilera; while most of the sculptures and the relief on the top were added even later-on the 18th and 19th centuries. It is worth signalling as a conclusion, the high value of the documentation available and reproduced here for the first time, together with the photographic material that informs us about the interventions this art-work has endured throughout the years.},
