Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan minat belajar siswa SD Negeri Sayang 4 Cianjur pada pembelajaran menulis puisi dan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan hasil karya puisi anak-anak Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sayang 4 Cianjur untuk dijadikan model bahan pembelajaran menulis puisi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui model pembelajaran menulis puisi dengan tema yang kebanyakan diambil oleh siswa yakni mengagumi alam bahwa siswa lebih menyukai keadaan diluar kelas. Oleh karena itu,  hasil analisis yang dilakukan peneliti terhadap karya puisi siswa kelas V tersebut dijadikan bahan pemilihan metode pembelajaran dalam menulis puisi yakni pengamatan objek langsung. Dengan pengamatan objek langsung siswa tidak hanya membayangkan apa yang akan mereka tuangkan dalam puisinya, namun juga mengamati secara langsung objek yang akan dijadikan puisi oleh siswa. Sehingga karya siswa dalam menulis puisi akan semakin memenuhi struktur batin maupun fisik. Kata kunci: puisi, bahan ajar, objek langsungThis article aims to describe the learning interests of students of SD Negeri Sayang 4 Cianjur in learning to write poetry and to find out the use of the works of poetry by students of Sayang 4 Cianjur State Elementary School to be used as a model for learning to write poetry. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the learning model of writing poetry with themes mostly taken by students is admiring nature that students prefer circumstances outside the classroom. Therefore, the results of the analysis conducted by researchers on the work of the fifth grade students' poems were used as material for the selection of learning methods in writing poetry namely direct object observation. By observing objects directly students not only imagine what they will pour in their poetry, but also directly observe objects that will be used as poetry by students. So that students' work in writing poetry will increasingly fulfill the inner and physical structure.Keywords: poetry, teaching materials, direct objects
