  abstractNote={Resumo Este trabalho corresponde a um estudo geológico e espeleológico no lajedo de Furna Feia, localizado no município de Baraúna, no Rio Grande do Norte, onde está inserido no contexto do calcário da Formação Jandaíra, da Bacia Potiguar. A pesquisa envolveu estudo dos sistemas de fraturas em superfície e em subsuperfície e descrição endorcárstica. O resultado dessa análise mostrou a importância das estruturas na compartimentação do lajedo e na geração de condutos, galerias e espelotemas em subsuperfície. As descontinuidades NW-SE e NE-SW se destacam em vários aspectos estudados, tanto em nível de detalhe quanto regional. Este arranjo é coincidente com os sistemas de falhas de Afonso Bezerra (NW-SE) e de Carnaubais (NE-SW) que estão relacionados a tectônica regional. Abstract This work represents a structural and speleological survey in the Furna Feia rocky bed, located in the municipal district of Baraúna in Rio Grande do Norte, which is inserted in the context of limestone of the Jandaíra Formation of the Potiguar basin. The research involved study of fractures in the surface and subsurface of limestone outcrops and endokarstic description. The result of this analysis showed the importance of structures in the subdivision of the limestone outcrops in the generation of conduits, galleries and speleothem inside cave. The NW-SE and NE-SW discontinuities prevail in various aspects studied, both in level of detail and regional levels. This arrangement is coincident with the fault systems of Afonso Bezerra (NW-SE) and Carnaubais (NE-SW) which are related to regional tectonics.},
