Abstract

The succession of economic crises since 1929 has shown that when the economy is bad, the ecology is good, and vice versa. In other words, the negative externality of our activities on the environment only reach their lowest level in times of crises, and leads us to ask if this pandemic cannot be seen as a means of bringing about positive change for the environment. But it is not known whether these changes, which we are seeing today, may have a more lasting or temporary effect? In this paper, we will try to provide as many answers as possible to these questions by first presenting the indirect and positive effects of the corona virus pandemic on the preservation of the environment, then we will try to draw a certain number of lessons that can be drawn from this crisis to build a safer and healthier future for current and future generations.
