Added an abstract, deduplicated the work, marked the superceded one as such, and created the journal container. Suprised it was not there before, maybe it would be worthwile to scrape for works with that include a relatedIdentifier
starting with http://beta.briefideas.org/ideas/
in datacite.relations
. Anyways, just a thought.
The container has no registered ISSN, which is why it wasn't auto-created, and doesn't have the DOIs auto-linked on creation. If these were really briefideas DOIs, we could do a bulk cleanup using the fatcat CLI tool. However, situation with folks using zenodo.org to get no-cost DOIs is sort of a mess... in some sense these are "really" Zenodo DOIs and represent repository deposits, not publications on briefideas.org. Ideally briefideas.org would themselves register DOIs, and have those DOIs point to their own site. This is some extra paperwork and cost on their end though.
I'm also curious why the languages were so wrong... maybe some auto-detection code in zenodo didn't work because the documents are small? Strange.
